The experience ticket and order confirmation are always sent to the provided email address.
Responsibility for the experience ticket passes to you as the consumer at the moment you receive the ticket.
Once you have paid for an experience, the ticket is always sent to the provided email address. If you don’t receive an email, you should first check if it ended up in your spam or promotions folder. If it’s not there, you can contact us directly for assistance.

PRICES
VAT:
All prices on lodewa.understory.io are stated in DKK and include VAT. Experiences that, due to their nature, are exempt from VAT according to VAT legislation are excluded.
Experience Gift Cards:
Our gift card is a value card that can be used as a payment method.
Our gift cards cannot be combined and must be used individually. Additionally, please note that discount codes cannot be applied when purchasing gift cards.
We reserve the right to cancel the order if this is not followed.
Price and Printing Errors:
We reserve the right for price and printing errors on our website, social media, newsletters, and other email communications. We reserve the right to cancel the order if there is a significant and/or obvious error.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If You Choose to Cancel:
If more than 72 hours remains before the experience, you can rebook by contacting us directly. However, some experiences have special rebooking rules, such as accommodations or experiences requiring significant preparation, so there may be exceptions. These will be listed under Rules and Safety on the experience's product page.
If less than 72 hours remains before the experience, the experience cannot be rebooked. Please note that experiences often involve preparations that incur costs, which must be covered, and therefore you cannot receive a refund for the experience.
On the day: If something unforeseen happens shortly before or on the day of the experience (e.g., illness), please contact the experience provider to inform them that you won’t be participating. You’ll find the contact details in the booking confirmation. Alternatively, you’re generally welcome to give your ticket to someone else.
If the Experience Provider Cancels:
Our experience providers do everything possible to ensure that you can enjoy your experience. However, unforeseen events such as illness, and similar may lead to cancellation. If this happens, the responsible party will contact you by phone/SMS and then via email.
If the experience provider cancels due to too few participants, planning errors, or similar, the cancellation must occur no later than 5 days before the experience starts. Regardless of when the cancellation occurs, alternative booking dates must be available, and if that is not the case, you have the right to a refund for your experience.

Through our software provider Understory, we use SSL, which means your credit card information is handled encrypted.
If you pay with a credit card, you are protected against misuse because you can reject a payment through your bank. Additionally, you bear no liability if your credit card is misused in an online store that uses SSL. LODEWA uses SSL, which means your credit card information is handled encrypted.
UPON ARRIVAL OF THE EXPERIENCE
You should arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time of the experience. Upon arrival, ensure you can present your booking via your ticket or booking confirmation.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
We register your personal information with the purpose of delivering the product to you.
Personal information is registered with LODEWA and stored for five years, after which the data is deleted.
When you purchase an experience from LODEWA, we require the following details:

We register your personal information to deliver the product to you. We ask for your phone number to provide good service in case something unforeseen happens with your order confirmation, the delivery of a gift box, or on the day of your experience.
Personal information is registered with LODEWA and stored for five years, after which it is deleted. If you have used your experience in the meantime, we will delete most of your information 30 days after the experience has taken place or after the redemption of your experience certificate from the experience provider. However, we must retain your name and address for five years in accordance with accounting legislation. When personal information is collected via our website, we ensure that it is always done with your explicit consent, so you are informed about which information is collected and why.
We do not store or transmit customer data encrypted. Information provided to LODEWA is not shared or sold, and we do not register any sensitive personal data. As a registered customer with LODEWA, you always have the right to object to the registration, and you have the right to access the data registered about you. These rights are granted under the Data Protection Act, and inquiries regarding this should be directed to LODEWA via email.
YOUR RIGHTS
In connection with purchases, identity and transaction data are stored in accordance with applicable laws.
If your information is incorrect, incomplete, or irrelevant, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted.
